Measures to support accessibility

As a university research project, "After You Die in Halifax" follows Dalhousie University's measures to ensure accessibility, which include:

  • accessibility in the university mission statement

  • accessibility throughout internal policies

  • clear accessibility goals and responsibilities

 

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. "After You Die in Halifax" is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Accessibility was evaluated by the author.

 

Technical specifications

"After You Die in Halifax" was developed on the Wix platform and follows its accessibility guidelines. The HTML code should be compatible with common web browsers and assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer.
